GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
- We reserve the right to refuse entry to OAK TREE FARM premises
- We reserve the right to refuse any booking
- We reserve the right to close the training field at short notice should ground conditions or weather or unplanned maintenance . Any bookings will be rescheduled.
- Oak tree farm is a working farm, please be aware of moving vehicles and livestock, all visitors must obey speed limits and instructions from Oak Tree Farm staff.
- All visitors agree to pay in advance via the online booking system, payment is due 48hrs prior for group bookings and clinics.
- You use the facilities at your own risk. OAK TREE FARM cannot accept liability for any loss or damage in respect of your vehicle, equipment, personal valuables or property.
- Any fences, prior to jumping, must be fully inspected and due care to be taken that it is within yours and your horse’s capability.
- Every person using the facilities agrees that they do so at their own risk and voluntarily accepts the risk of injury while riding and handling a horse on the premises.
- All persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times
- Any person using the XC facilities must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- We recommend that any young or inexperienced rider bring a qualified instructor with them who has adequate insurance.
- Hard hats to current standards must be worn at all times whilst mounted. Body protectors must be worn on the XC course
- It is recommended you wear a body protector while mounted.
- Any fences that are damaged or seen to be damaged must be reported to Carol on 07900 897 955
- We recommend that the gate is shut in the training field while riding.
- Horseboxes must NOT be mucked out on site and anyone caught doing so will be fined.
- All dropping must be removed from parking area, taken home or put in the wheel barrow provided.
- Horses must not be left tied up to vehicles unattended.
- Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and are not permitted in any buildings on the property.
- All dog poo must picked up and taken home.
- No smoking is permitted in any buildings, stable yard areas, barns or forage storage areas,
- Our online booking system uses Paypal for payments, any problems please contact us to pay via BACS
- All transactions and online payments are made in £ Pound Sterling
- All payments to be made online, or in the case of group bookings and clinics, via BACS.
- Placing a booking implies acceptance of the terms & conditions of hire of facilities
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
- Cancel up until midday the day before your booking and receive a full refund via Paypal, minus Paypal charges.
- Individual bookings can be edited, up to 2 hours before your slot, this can be done via the link in your confirmation email. Contact us if you have any problems.
- Cancellations due to bad weather or ground conditions the day of the booking will be rescheduled to a date to suit customer.
- when cancelling booking and requiring a refund, please contact us if the refund hasn't been processed within 48hrs
- any changes and cancellation with group bookings and clinic must be done 48 hours prior to the booking.
Personal Injury and Insurance:
Oak Tree Farm does not insure the rider, your horse, your tack or your equipment. You are strongly advised to have in place your own adequate insurance at all times, and if using an instructor, please ensure they adequately insured.
Oak tree farm will not be held responsible for ANY accident, injury or loss to any person or their property however this may be caused.
Riding horses is a high-risk sport and riders using this facility and training field acknowledge this and do so at their own risk and that the organisers and land owners will not be accountable or responsible for any loss, damage or injury to rider, horse or equipment however caused. including Covid-19
Oak tree farm have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and to prevent accidents occurring and must obey the rules and instructions of Oak tree farm.
