Oak tree farm is run on a degree of trust. We hold certain standards which we hope everyone will abide by.

RESTRICTED NUMBERS:

• Please book online unless you wish to talk to us about running a clinic then call Carol on 07900897955.
• We have restricted number of places per session, please do not bring more horses than you have booked for unless you have spoken to us and arranged anything different. Clinics or family/ friend groups may have more per session BUT this must be arranged beforehand. 
• We will carry out random lorry park checks, so make sure you have booked before you come. 

DISCLAIMER:

• All riders enter at their own risk. Oak Tree Farm and/or the organising committee cannot be held responsible for any accident, damage, theft, injury or illness to horses, ponies, riders, owners, grooms, and ground spectators or any other person or property whatsoever. 
• Any person using the XC or SJ facilities must be accompanied by a responsible adult who is capable of helping in the event of an accident.
• We recommend inexperienced riders bring a qualified instructor with them who has adequate insurance.
• Hard hats and a body protector of current standard must be worn at all times whilst mounted. 
• All vehicles parked at owners’ risk – please do not leave any valuables unattended. 

SHOW JUMPING:

• Please ensure the jumps are left as you found them, all poles to be left on the jumps when finished. 
• Any damages to be reported. 
• All riders must wear an up to standard riding hat and safe, suitable footwear

XC COURSE:

• Replace any knocked flags. These flags are designed to pop out of their holders for safety reasons.
• If somewhere on the course is roped off, please respect this. This is for your and your horse’s protection.

WATER JUMPS:

• When acquainting your horse with water please do not let him splash & scrape the gravel base of the water jumps - it creates hidden holes that can bring a horse down.

PARKING:

• We are a farm so please drive SLOWLY to the lorry park.
• Clear all droppings and hay from lorry park using the scoops provided. Do not empty your lorry into the scoops.
• The course is located a 500m ride from the lorry park to the course via a hardstanding track. No unautherised vehicles are allowed, please contact us for permission to drive up if needed.

PONY CLUB GROUPS AND CHILDREN:

• We love to welcome children but please make sure they know the barns and machinery areas are TOTALLY OUT OF BOUNDS. 
• All persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

DOGS AND DOG POO:

• Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times . We are a farm and have sheep so no dogs are allowed off the lead and all dog poo must be picked up and taken away with you. 
• Please do not leave poo bags by jumps or hanging on hedges. 
• Dog poo can kill sheep.

Clinics

Note to clinic organisers: For a full refund, 48 hours’ notice of cancellation is required. Any later than this will be at Oak tree farms discretion. Any adjustments to the length of booking time will be much appreciated as early as possible, however we will endeavour to be reasonable.

There are signs up and we ask everyone to respect the rules regarding this virus for all our safety. 

At the moment there are no washing facilities and you must bring your own water to wash down your horse. Please DO NOT use the taps by the stable yard, these are for liveries only.
